Hilary Duff chased up her night of partying with some time at the gym today. But, while that may be mundane, Hilary Duff was quoted last night about her unique safety-pin earrings saying she’s “trying to be a little punk rock!”

Hilary Duff has mostly been carrying her new and very expensive Birkin handbag these days, but it seems that Hilary has a penchant for posh handbags. The bag she’s seen carrying here is over $2,000!

The Prada Cervo Lux Print Bowler is available for $2,350 at Bergdorf Goodman. The bag is made from calf leather with black lace overlay. It’s made in Italy.

Hilary Duff spent about a week in Ottawa it seems. As well as seeing the hockey game on April 4th, with boyfriend Mike Comrie playing, Hilary Duff also was spotted at his April 7th game! However, Hilary made her way back to LA and was again spotted at the Eye Candy Boutique and Optometrist.

Hilary walked out of her appointment wearing a new pair of glasses - similar in shape to the ones we saw in New York, but without the full rim. Earlier in the day she was spotted at the gym for a workout. Read more

Hilary Duff chats with Style Series presented by Diet Coke about her journey. They ask how she juggles albums, TV, fashion, fragrance, charity work, and more.

“It’s a funny question. I think that when you do something and you love it, it’s easy to fit everything in! I truly love it. It doesn’t seem that difficult.”

They ask Hilary how she decides what to focus on. “I get bored easily, I guess. For six months I’ll be touring and making a record and it’ll be all that consume me, and then I’ll go to shoot a movie and I won’t even think about music. But it has to be scheduled out in order to have time for everything!“

Hilary Duff was seen in New York this weekend wearing two red dresses designed by Donna Karan. The first Hilary war in the Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Fashion Show and the second she wore at the DKNY Fashion Show.

Hilary also shared that she’s become “good friends” with Donna Karan since she began her Femme for DKNY Jeans collaboration. And of going down the runway? Hilary says:

“I say a little prayer before I go out there”

There’s also a possibility that this is a new poster for Hilary’s movie, Safety Glass, but it seems kind of amateur. Let’s hope for something better!

Hilary Duff gave a lot of interviews while at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York over the weekend. Some of those interviews are now trickling up. Including a brief interview with NYMag where Hilary Duff talks about her new fashion collaboration, Femme for DKNY Jeans.

Hilary Duff gave the interview while backstage at the Heart Truth Fashion Show while wearing her gorgeous Donna Karan dress. Hilary says she’s a “huge fan” of Donna Karan.

Hilary talks about Femme for DKNY Jeans, saying:

“I wanted to do a really smart line, like jeans that have lots of multiple sizes of belt loops so you can wear any kind of belt with it and it still kind of looks cool, or jeans that have a spot for suspenders to hook on if you want to let them hang down. Or burn-out T-shirts with fringe on them and little, like, shrunken leather jackets and vests.”

In addition to jeans and tees and these fun design aesthetics, Hilary says they incorporated images with poppies because she was really into poppies at the time. And here’s more:

“And I wanted to do, like, necklaces attached to shirts but that girls can take off and wear in a different way, and the same with scarves.”

I can’t wait to see the final results!!

People.com calls out Hilary Duff as one of the young Hollwood starlets setting the trend in ‘buffalo plaid scarves’. They use this photo of Hilary Duff as their example, which was from Hilary’s appearance at Roberto Clemente School to support Blessings in a Backpack.

Other celebs setting this trend include Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. Each of the celebs wore all-black outfits with bold plaid scarves. A scarf similar to Hilary’s yellow and black plaid can be found at Charlotte Russe.

Hilary has been wearing a lot of scarves lately! Check out the gauzy taupe one from her clubbing night on the weekend and the red and cream one she wore in the Bahamas. Nearly every time we see Hilary out lately, it’s with a cute scarf!

I was just floored with how gorgeous Hilary Duff looked this week when she left her home carrying that Johnjay & Rich sign and running some errands. The dress was just stunning and fit Hilary like it was made for her.

But the good news for us, it wasn’t made for Hilary! And you can buy your own (if you can afford it!)
