Richard Vission, who has remixed several of Hilary Duff’s singles in the past, has put together a remix of Hilary’s latest single, “Any Other Day“, off of the What Goes Up soundtrack.

The new Radio Remix is not available for purchase on the soundtrack, but you can listen to a teaser above. Hopefully this new remix will continue to get “Any Other Day” some radio time - keep requesting it from your local radio stations!!

Artists Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford recently performed a cover of Hilary Duff’s “Reach Out” (the Joe Bermudez remix) at ASAP 09 in the Philippines. It’s pretty fantastic to see someone cover Hilary Duff’s music in a live performance!

According to Amazon, the What Goes Up: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released on physical CD on July 14, 2009. The soundtrack is currently available on iTunes, as is the single “Any Other Day“, sung by Hilary Duff.

And in other news, Hilary Duff was spotted in New York having dinner at SushiSamba recently.

People.com put together a Love Connection game that features the first question about Hilary Duff. The little quiz asks, “Hilary Duff’s lover in her ‘With Love’ music video is…” and gives the option of Kellan Lutz (Twilight) or Channint Tatum (GI Joe).

And the right answer is… Kellan Lutz! Kellan is one of the lead vampires in the Cullen family on Twilight, playing the character of Emmett Cullen. Hilary has previously shared her love of the Twilight series, so it’s funny to see that she’s worked one of the vampires before

Hilary Duff was nominated this year for 2 awards in the MTV Italy TRL Awards 2009.

Hilary was up for “First Lady” and for “Best #1 of the Year”. Hilary Duff had some tough competition for the First Lady nomination, which goes to the favorite female International pop sugar… but… Hilary Duff WON as First Lady of 2009!

What Goes Up follows a “morally challenged” NY reporter, Campbell Babbitt (Steve Coogan), who returns to a small New Hampshire town to cover his hometown news surrounding the first civilian and teacher in space in the 1980s, giving us a glimpse into how heroes are made in this world. While there, he learns a few life lessons from a group of disaffected students (Hilary Duff, Josh Peck, Olivia Thirlby) who are mourning the loss of their teacher (and Babbitt’s friend), who committed suicide. Since it’s release yesterday afternoon, the soundtrack for Hilary Duff’s movie, What Goes Up, including her new single “Any Other Day,” has made a splash on iTunes!

The WGU team reports that Hilary’s new single, “Any Other Day”, went up 41 places on the iTunes top song list (and still rising). The production team has been wowed by the support of fans for this movie - check out some of the details here.
