Hilary Duff shared with her fan club (you need a membership to see it) that she was SO happy with the results of the AIDS Walk last Sunday.

Hilary writes that the “Walk With Love” team raised $4,380 for AIDS Walk NY. The 24th Annual walk had 45,000 participants and raised more than $5.6 million for Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) and dozens of other tri-state HIV/AIDS service organizations!!

Hilary Duff writes in her blog a big thanks to everyone for all the work fundraising for the event. Hilary also writes her thanks to fans who voted for her for the TRL Italy awards, saying she was very surprised to hear she’d won the “First Lady” award.

The blog continues to say that Hilary was planning to take a few days off in LA, but has a few exciting events planned in June. And Hilary blogs about the new dog we’ve seen her out walking!

Hilary says the dog is named Dubois, and he’s a 2-year-old Bermese Mountain Dog that was rescued from a family that’s been fostering him. She says the little dogs in her home are getting used to him.

In Hilary Duff’s last blog post, which went up , Hilary Duff mentioned that her little cat Gloomy had hurt himself. She didn’t mention how, but that she had been nursing him back to health. Hilary posted a new update today to her blog with an update on how he was doing. Hilary says he’s doing “a lot better” and they built him a little kitty condo too. She shared some photos of him in there with Hilary.

BTW, Hilary says that Gloomy’s favorite TV show is Animal Planet.

Hilary Duff has updated her fan-club only blog (sign up here) with some news! It’s been a long time since Hilary posted there, nearly a month, so it was great to have some updates.

In her blog post, Hilary Duff talks about going to Arizona for New Years Eve and about her vacation in the Bahamas. She said it was an amazing trip - very relaxing - and though she was sad that pictures of her vacation got out, she does think they’re cute!

Hilary talks about filming her episode of Ghost Whisperer and about her new role in The Story of Bonnie & Clyde, which should start filming this Spring.

In other news, the renovations on Hilary’s home are still progressing and her cat Gloomy was hurt recently so Hilary has been nursing him back to health.

In follow up to the previous video podcast, the new Hilary Duff podcast is part 2 of 3 video looks into Hilary’s work with the Blessings in a Backpack program.

This video gives more behind-the-scenes looks into Hilary’s volunteer work for the program, showing her stuffing backpacks and posing with some of her fans. The video includes a speech given at Roberto Clemente Elementary School, and some very high words of praise are spoken about Hilary before she too gives a small speech.

Hilary Duff posted a new blog to her fan club (you can sign up here) on HilaryDuff.com. It’s a really sweet blog post with Hilary even sharing some photos from her 21st birthday weekend. Oh, the cake is so nice!! Since these are fan club exclusives, you need to be a member to see them.

I can, however, describe the blog post for you! Hilary Duff says she went to Park City, Utah for a few days with her family to celebrate Thanksgiving (I’m so happy they were able to share that time together!). Hilary says they stayed at the Stein Eriksen lodge (OMG it looks amazing!!).

Hilary wants to thank everyone for all the messages she got for her birthday, and feels lucky to have fans like you!! She can’t believe she’s finally 21!

Hilary then talks about her work, reading scripts for her new TV show, says her pets are all doing great, and talks about remodeling her house. She has a designer who has help to redesign some rooms and get new furniture. Hilary says she’ll be heading to New York soon to visit her boyfriend, Mike, who hopes to return to work before Christmas (he’s been recovering from an injury - that’s a photo of him from May of this year after surgery).
