Although there were indications that the movie would begin filming in May, the latest news pegs the movie as starting filming this July. The independent film has a budget of $15 million.

About “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde”

Bonnie Parker (Hilary Duff) has dreams of becoming an actress or a poet, anything to get her away from her small town. Clyde Barrow (Kevin Zegers) also grew up poor with dreams of being noticed and of having the finer things in life. One wanted excitement, the other wanted to be remembered. When their worlds collided, they became history.

The Story of Bonnie and Clyde began with their love, a love that could not be broken. But Clyde’s love of money and excitement would lead them both into a world of violence. The story focuses more on the real lives of Bonnie and Clyde, rather than their short span of violence.
