Hilary Duff for Leeza Gibbons Oscar Night

February 18, 2009 by Arieanna

Hilary Duff sat down to create a promotional video to help support the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and their upcoming event, A Night To Make a Difference on Oscar Night at Mr. Chow, which will be held this Sunday February 22, 2009.

The event, which benefits the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation and Olivia Newton-Johns Cancer and Wellness Centre Appeal, is an “interactive viewing party” for the Academy Awards (Oscars). The benefit event will be broadcast live to the internet to places like ExtraTV.com and will encourage online viewers to take part in changing their own lives and the world by getting involved with charitable works.

Hilary Duff talks about this “party with a purpose”, saying it’s a great opportunity to get behind a cause that has the potential to rally young people to change the world. Hilary will be a part of the event, giving an interview and talking about her own charitable events.
