Hilary Duff Gets NBC Show!

According to several sources, Hilary Duff has signed a deal with NBC to return to television in a new series!!
As part of her one-year signing agreement, Hilary Duff will star in a yet-to-be-titled comedy series, as well as appear on several other NBC shows as guest star. Hilary Duff will sit down with writers at NBC to come up with ideas for her new series. She will be able to pick through projects already under development with NBC to see which one she likes.

We are confident we will develop great ideas that would feature her vast talents and are thrilled to have this opportunity.” - Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President of NBC Entertainment.
This will be Hilary Duff’s first return appearance to television in a lead role since the completion of her Disney series Lizzie McGuire. Hilary currently has several movies on upcoming release including Foodfight!, Greta (as photographed above), Safety Glass, and Stay Cool.

I hope she does get a good day job as the “Friends” stars did where each actor eventually negotiated a million dollar per episode contract. But that was years ago, Nowadays they should be up to Five.
It’s not even official that she will return to tv or not.

‘Emmy Awards’ here we come!! haha hopefully she can take her time thinking through all the scripts they have for her and it will become a success. This is the beginning of her NEW adult life after teen domination. Love you Hilary!!!

Hilary had a development deal with CBS in 2003, but they didn’t come up with a script she liked so that never came to be.

Ummmm I wouldn’t jump on the idea that the show will be JUST LIKE Lizzie McGuire. =) We have no details yet…. she wouldn’t want to do something similar to a “Disney” role again. It should be good.
