Rumors on new Hilary Duff CD
Hilary Duff will be releasing a new CD, but the details have been changing and are as yet unclear. So far, we know that the CD will contain "Reach Out", a new single that Hilary recorded this summer and that she performed on the Dignity World Tour. The song features a sample from Depeche Mode’s "Personal Jesus" and is written by Ryan Tedder and Kara DioGuardi.
It is unclear, past this point, if the new release will feature additional new songs or if it will be a re-release or "best of." Hilary Duff’s official Italian site is reporting that it will be a "Best of" album with only 2 new songs. Other rumor sites are reporting it’s a whole new album.

i think the best of is only for europe or italy… because it is only on the italian website, not her official north american website…… besides this wouldn’t be the first time italy released something of hilary’s only for themselves….. Hilary Duff 4ever was released in italy in 2006

i think it would be better a whole new cd, if it is a best of, it would be really similar to the most wanted cd. not a good buy.

She’d sell more copies if it’s a whole new album. She has a lovely voice, and what other better way to show it than recording new songs. Get ready to be surprised!

I want it to be a whole new album,because then if it’s a “best of” it will seem like Hilary is ending her singing career!

I’m european fan and i don’t want a other best of because most wanted was a best of her , it might be a whole new cd because the fans wait since april 2007 with dignity so a new cd please and HR have to promote this album . can’t wait to listen Reach out and the see the music video .

I have a feeling the situation with HR is not very good at this point.
I would much rather see a whole new album, rather than a best of since most likelt the “best of” album good be something very similar to “most wanted”.
Hilary’s contract with HR is on the verge of expiring and they are probably puching her to have the record done before set time.
Whatever comes i hope it will benefit Hilary and at the same time make fans happy.

a best of?? That sounds like the editor is puting to much pressor on her, cause why would an artist like Hil do another “best of” if most wanted was already one?? Weird…no, i want an album with songs like really good, so Hilary take your time, take as much time as you need but do something you want and you like!!!! Sing your soul Hils

i honestly dont think it wuld be a great idea cause “dignity” was kind of a flop..i think hilary has taken her share of hits in her career and things that were very unsuccesful “material girls” any1…that movie made like 12 bucks
my advice to hilary- who might i add didnt show up in this years forbes list which she has always been on..
get as many advertising and endorsement gigs as u can
continue to work up ur acting career again..btw congrats on war, inc’s per theater success
oo..and ofcourse the 3rd perfume

i just read somewhere….. that it is confirmed that hilary will be releasing a best of album in september…. which will end her contract with Hollywood Records…. and she is already in negotiation with new labels for contract.
1. Hilary’s “Best Of” album will be released via Hollywood Records on September 23 or 30.
2. This is set to be her final album with Hollywood Records & will contain two new songs. (”Reach Out” & “Holiday.”)
3. The instrumentals received early last month will be sent back to the producers & the songs written by Hilary will remain in her possession. All unreleased material will remain with Hollywood Records.
4. Radio promo’s for “Reach Out” will be sent before the end of this month. A scheduled date has not been decided.
5. Hilary is talking to a variety of labels for a new deal. She expects to release a new studio album, under a new label next year.
