Hilary Duff Joins “Stay Cool”

Hilary Duff has signed on for a new movie role. According to Hollywood Reporter, Hilary will join the cast of a new movie entitled Stay Cool.
Hilary Duff will star in the flick alongside Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, Mark Polish, Chevy Chase and Jon Cryer. Hilary will play a sexy high school senior who flirts with a successful visiting author (Mark Polish as Henry McCarthy) and invites him to prom. The same author must deal with another unrequired high school crush (Winona Ryder as Scarlet Smith).
Stay Cool will begin filming next month and is expected to come out in 2009.

yay cant wait. but hil said that she qwnt do any more teenage movies coz she dsnt want people 2 see her as a tennager anymore. and in this role she plays a teenager?

Just because she also plays a high school student in both films doesn’t mean she’s being typecasted. Sorry, but learn what typecasting is.
cool sounds like it will be a good role for hil.
She has to balance any movie depicting characters her age with movies where the characters age isn’t a factor, such as War Inc. She’s still an actress who has to become flexible but she still has to cater to the industry she earns a living in.
thats cool another movie i cant wait but i thought hilary wanted to get away from the teenage kind of movies like where she plays a teen

she’s not typcasted, she is just in a good age to play senior in highschool! lol that doesnt mean that from now on she will always be!! besides actress sometimes do a lot of the same work, like can u tell how many times did Hayden Panettiere played cheerleader, and i still think she is awsome!! lol

Not counting War,inc. the last time she was in a movie was 2006 in Material Girls and its been 2 years since I’m waiting for her to do a movie ! So I am happy .

War Inc. was screwball, but it was entertaining and well-made enough to be a hit with its particular audience and I predict it will have a life on DVD, if not a birth. Although, a stylized action movie, like a comic or pulp fiction adaptation, and a musical, maybe based on one of her own album works, would be good ideas for her future films.
