Hilary Duff to be on 90210 Remake?
Hilary Duff is reportedly in talks to be in the new 90210 remake. According to E! Online, sources are saying that Hilary Duff is in talks to join this new CW network show as the star.
There has been no word yet on whether or not Hilary Duff is interested in the role being offered to her, and neither the CW nor Hilary have confirmed the rumors.
According to E!’s sources, Hilary’s potential character on the 90210 remake is that of Annie Mills. She is a Beverly Hills High student who loves theater acting and who yearns to fit in with the alternative crowd.
So, what do you think? Would it be good for Hilary Duff to go back to a tv role?

yeah that would be AWESOME…cuz then we could see her every week!
BUT…it would kind of limit the things she would want to do, like make a new album and tour with it

I agree elizabeth. If she did do this she would probably have to change some things that she’s doing now.
A movie every other year.
No album every year.
Maybe every 3 years or longer
touring will be no option because she wont have time.
You only get 3 months off between seasons.
She could do her “ceaper by the dozen disappearing act” Meaning hardly be in any episodes. that would be boring.

i would personally like her to be in a tv show, it’d be a regular way to see her again like when she did lizzie, but it’d probably hurt her career, so i’m torn.

well, this is actually good for hilary, really proves her potential and what a great actress she is, but personally, i’m not so happy about it…shes leaving a mark all over the globe, with her reputation as a pop star, and if she starts working on a series, it will really limit all the things shes doing currently….people will probably remember her as annie mills, NOT hilary duff =( … i gess i have mixed feelings about this.

I must say that this is a step backwards for her plans. She has been saying that she wants to shed her “Good Girl” image. If these rumors are true. She will still remain a “Good Girl”.

she doesnt want to shed her good girl image. Just wants to try new challenging roles and I dont think this is one of them. Also the the CW focuses on the teen audience. I think she’s trying to get out of that audience with films like war inc, greta, safety glass. Trying to make her acting and music as well more serious.

I think that, as long as the script is well-written, and the directors will be able to help her explore her potential, it’s a great idea. There are no limits for the development of a character on a TV show that runs for a couple of seasons. We could see Hilary play all sides with her role and that would be interesting. I actually hope this rumor is true and that she does accept the part. I know 90210 targets a teen audience, but you’d be surprised how much these kind of shows attract older people, and that’s probably due to the fact that the issues which are addressed are not very cookie-cutter. This is not a show on the Disney Channel, folks. I know moms in their 30s who watch Gossip Girl. I like the idea of her doing television again. I, for one, would be really excited to see that.

Hilary would hardly be in this show anyways with movies, music and touring.
imagine 22 episodes and only 5 out of 22 with Hilary in them. A very big disappoinment there.

I’m not too sure cause she had a reputation for lizzie mcguire but I guess she was younger then.
I guess it would be good but can she juggle it with everything else??
She’s involved with many movies and recording a new album soon,involved with stuff by duff and many other things I don’t know how she thinks she’s going to be able to do it all??
I spose you’ve gotta remember she’s only in talks with them about it.
It does sound really good but I think it would be too much for hilary.
