Hilary Duff Holiday Plans
According to People.com, who interviewed Haylie Duff, the Duff sisters and mom Susan will be spending Christmas together then flying out to Mexico for New Years Eve.
Last year, Haylie Duff spent Christmas in Miami - but that was too much work. This year, they are all going to celebrate at home:
"We haven’t done that in a really long time, so we’re staying home and having a normal Christmas night," Duff, 22, tells PEOPLE. The star-filled home won’t be slaving over the stove though.
"We do the tamales tradition and go out and get them from a little guy who lives out in Pasadena. We buy them from him, like, every year," she explains. "We don’t really do big cooking on Christmas. We do all that during Thanksgiving and then we’re dieting after that."
It will be festive too, she vows. "My friend Nicki and I have been decorating the house for the past three days, so there’s been Christmas craziness in our house."
After Christmas, travel plans take over. "We’re going to go to Mexico for New Year’s," Duff says.

uhhh P i hate to tell you, but a lot of people have tamales (including my family) for christmas. i don’t know if it’s something with people from or who live in texas or if it has to do with me being hispanic. i’m sure it’s not the ONLY food she’s having for christmas. and mexico is a nice place to spend for new years, plus if hil or hayls were to be in nyc for xmas i bet you they aould get a lot of attention. maybe they just wanna have a private christmas.

I agree with Allie. The Duff women have said that Mexican food is one of their favs and, from what I’ve heard, THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY and people can eat what ever the hell they want to for Christmas. Also, if they want to go to Mexico for New Years, then dont you think that they’re probably going there for some privacy to get away from all the craziness in their lives?
