Hilary Duff Sued Over Blocked View Of Concert
A small-claims lawsuit filed in Beverly Hills County Superior Court (first obtained by CelebTV.com) shows that two fans of Hilary Duff’s have a legal gripe with the 20-year-old singer. Andrew Rakos and Seth Rakos claim they attended a Hilary concert but a film crew blocked their view of the show.
The complaint reads “The defendant hired film crews at the performance with no prior warning and had film crew interrupt and ruin the ability for my family to see the show.
According to the documents, the plaintiffs are only asking for $220 dollars in damages. This will cover the cost of two tickets purchased on eBay, the price of parking for the event and expenses related to copying and mailing the complaint.

How sad is that? A family sueing for not being able to see a show, it’s not Hilary’s fault that she’s famous and has paparazzi following her everywhere. The family is stupid and getting only $220 proves that they are. They just wanted attention.

hilary wasnt the one in question of moving, it was her camera crews. i agree with christopher, just people taking advantage of a situation to obtain a small cash settlement.

I totally agree with the fans if they pay their money they should have the expectation of watching the concert, without someone standing in front of them. I think no one can say they TOOK ADVANTAGE of poor Hilary they are only trying to get what they spent,which seems more than fair to me no additional damages were requested in their suit,refund their money.

I think the ppl who are sueing just want attention or they are really stupid. It’s not Hilary’s fault that the camera crew was in their view of her concert, she can’t very well stop the concert to tell the camera crew to move so that 2 fans can see better. y would they sue Hilary anyway? She’s not the one who was blocking their view, she was onstage. If they were REAL fans, they wouldn’t sue her. They would sue her camera crew, they arent real fans cuz they caused this drama for Hilary.

all u suck ups need lives! they just want attention?? palease…if they wanted attention they would be suing for a lot more than $220. if Hilary didn’t give the people what they were promised in buying the tickets to her show, then they have every right to ask for a refund! they probably wouldn’t go to the extent of suing her if it wasn’t so bloody hard to get into contact with her management…and after all they are only asking for what they wasted, no more…so they are hardly taking advantage of her fame..and if they did im sure it wouldn’t even put a mark in hilary’s bank account anyway, the girl has more than enough to burn on shopping and manicures!!!

Ugghh, ‘lankous’ fyi, we aren’t all 13, I’m 16. And, by the way, what we’re trying to say is that they shouldnt be sueing Hilary, but her production team. She has nothing to do with cameras. We all know she isn’t perfect and she makes mistakes, but this wasn’t her fault. Oh, and its hard to get in touch with every other famous persons managment team, for obvious reasons.
I would’ve done the same as them people wjo are suing, just not to Hilary. But I’m sure she won’t mind at all seeing as shes donated thousands of dollars to charities….

I think it is right to sue, becuase I mean, come on! They paid money to see Hilary, but instead, the camera crew blocked them. But they shouldn’t sue Hilary because it’s not her fault, it’s the camera crews’.
