Hilary Duff Everett Concert

This is Hilary Duff being candid on stage, asking fans what song she should perform during her sound check. After her discussion with fans, they choose her new cover of Love is a Battlefield. She has to stall a bit while they do the sound check, so Hilary chats about going to the movies in Seattle to see "her husband" Matt Damon (big fan, so cute!). Then, her performance (good quality):
Hilary Duff gives Everett another bonus song, so Hilary talks a bit more with her band and with the fans before moving on to "Never Stop":
Although the tour has thus far been packed and, in some cases, sold out, the Everett show was only filled to 25% capacity. But the fans tried to make up for it!
Her rendition of "Love is a Battlefield" was equally surprising, replacing Pat Benatar’s angry edge with a poplike ode to girl power.
New songs from her "Dignity" album ("With Love," "I Wish" and "Dignity") amped up the pop appeal with edgy electronic beats — not as robotic as the Bravery or as club-friendly as Justin Timberlake, but entertaining enough.
She closed with the best song on her "Dignity" album, "Stranger," which has a seductive Arabic flute and pulsating electronic beats similar to Britney Spears’ "I’m a Slave for You."
Although the music lacked substance, one thing is clear — the girl has got style and a powerhouse marketing machine. Her fans left decked out in Duff hoodies, and holding glow pens and pamphlets covered with glamour photos of the pop-star-in-the-making.

omg i wish i could go to a concert but i live in israel and i dont thing she is coming soon anyway its worth it to watch :)

wow only 25% capacity! it should of been outside! it was good how she was able to talk to the crowd while in the whole sound check thing

it wasn’t one of her best cncerts i guess and she looks simple also!!adn i can see almost all of the area empty!!! but whatever it is i like u hilary

Camera work looked a little shaky, why can’t you mount it somewhere around the mixer board, set the zoom and run the sound through the audio out, into the camcorder. The room kinda has a ring to it. Once you get going all that sound gets to bouncing around, or would that be to good of quality. I think you should pick your loudest song for the sound check, and leave it.

Sorry Guys just went out and mowed the front and back yard and the video is still loading…finally got it loaded and decided that I did like the camera angle, got a good look at those luscious lips, pearly whites and some pretty hot moves, (can’t get too much of that!) could even make out the lag time. how does she do it? I think the lead solos could have been a little more pronounced though (Guitar) sounded good but wanted more, or else soften the background a bit, What ever the room acoustics can stand. Remember Pat Benatar started out in “Opera”, and had a huge voice for such a small package. Great job, Love Ya Babe, hope to see you soon.
PS. did you get to stop off at the “Avenue of the Giants” on the way south? “WAY COOL.”

hey did anyone hear what she sayd ? she goes or we could do dignity and the crwod roars n then she says i guess we wont be releasing that as a single ever?

Well i think hilary said she could give them 2 choices like love is a battlefield or dignity…but she was awesome though
