she didn’t write this song though, i’m pretty sure that this is the one song she didn’t write. but she probably chose it cuz she thinks in her own personal way that it is about joel.

I’m happy Hil is better.. but now I’m the one sick.. I’ve been with this pain since Thursday.. and I went to the hospital several times… and they don’t know what I have..
well.. I’ve been busy with my test.. i have every week at least three tests :/

I do think that Hilary wrote it. She has the potential for doing this and I’m pretty sure that she did.

i’m not saying she didn’t write it because i think she can’t, i’m saying she didn’t write it because a while ago i saw the listings for who wrote the songs, and i knew hilary had said that she had not written one song on the album, and i didn’t see her name beside ‘happy’

This song isn’t about joel & I can prove it.
This song was in the background of the material girls trailer and wen they did the trailer hilary & joel where still going out. So its impossible 4 her 2 write this song about joel when they were 2gether.
I love this song the beat is cool :)

either way if it is about joel or about whatever…it’s a good song. I think she was hurt- although she probably didn’t write the song, she felt that. I can totally relate to this song. I like when she says I’m happy. cuz in the end that’s all you’ve got. To be happy. =]
