Check out this video of one person’s speed painting using Paint.NET. In the video, the artist draws Hilary and turns her into a cartoon. He even changes her hair from blonde to black! The artist admits this is a new medium for them so it isn’t perfect. We all know Hilary is a lot more beautiful than the final result, but I thought the video was pretty nifty! Do any of you guys do drawings like this of your favorite celebrities?

Billboard’s Decade End Charts lists gave the lovely Hilary Duff naughty number #69 in their Top 200 Artists of the past decade. Her album Metamorphosis was ranked as #80 of the Top-Selling 200 Albums of the past decade across all genres. The soundtrack of The Lizzie McGuire Movie came in at #11 of the Top 25 Movie Soundtracks of the past decade.

Seems like a fantastic career for the young actress/singer who has not been seen out and about as much as I would like, but that can only mean she’s remaining hard at work on her many projects. We can’t wait to see what you have in store for us Hilary–keep riding the waves of success!

Haylie Duff was on the red carpet with her boyfriend, Nick Zano, for the premiere of Dear John. The film tells the story of a young woman (Amanda Seyfried) who falls in love with a soldier (Channing Tatum). They decide to exchange letters to each other after he was deployed to the war. The film will be released theatrically in North America on February 5.

Check out this great Hilary Duff childhood tribute video that a fan posted. I love seeing the progression of pictures and videos–especially the ones where Hilary is playing with her sister. So cute!

Hilary’s film, Provinces of Night, will be kicking off its wold premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday, February 6 at 7:15 PM at Metro 4 Theatre II. The film will also be showing on Sunday, February 7 at 8 PM in the same theater. A source close to the festival tells me it’s likely that Hilary will be making an appearance, so if you’re close to Santa Barbara start running!

This is the 25th annual run for the film festival, which boasts a great array of independent features. Provinces of Night is directed by Shane Dax Taylor and marks the director’s second feature film. In the film, Hilary stars as Raven Lee Halfacr, a beautiful Southern belle who wants to escape the destructive life of her drug-dependent and wanton mother. The story surrounds the shattered lives of the Bloodworth family. E.F. Bloodworth returns home after being gone for forty years. His three sons cannot escape the family ‘curse’ but Fleming, E.F.’s grandson, tries to rise above it all and falls into the arms of Raven, seeking courage and strength.

Hilary Duff was spotted leaving a gym with a friend in Los Angeles, C.A. today. The actress and singer wore a tank top, sweats and carried a stylish bag with some signature sunglasses. Her friend looks to be a little camera shy but it seems as though she was being a good sport about the whole thing. Either the paparazzi loves to take photos of Hilary working out or she just works out constantly. Probably a little bit of both!
